Congratulation to Crew Armada ’09

Kesuksesan Armada dan Kontroversinya, tangisan, kesurupan, ancaman, kekompakan dan guyuran perpisahan.

Student day telah berakhir dengan meninggalkan kenangan yang indah dan kebanggaan. Kegiatan ospek fakultas yang telah dilaksanakan selama empat kali ini memang menguras banyak sekali tenaga dan pikiran dari panitia, termasuk juga aku didalamnya. Sebagai koordinator divisi acara, divisi yang sangat menetukan keberhasilan dari acara tersebut, jika acaranya hancur maka yang langsung menjadi cemo’ohan adalah anak acara, sebaliknya jika acara sukses, ya… berbanggalah anak acara dan ditambah lagi ini adalah pengalaman kepanitian pertamaku di dalam fakultas Ilmu Budaya. Mengahadapi dan belajar beraneka ragam karekteristik setiap insan yang ada dalam kepanitiaan yang kurang lebih berlangsung selama lima bulan ini memang sangat menyenangkan dan penuh dengan hikmah yang dapat kita ambil manfaatnya.

Evaluasi dari pertemuan pertama, cukup lumayan belum menunjukkan acara yang greget dan ada beberapa kesalahaan yang harus diperbaiki. Kesalahan tidak terlalu significant hanya belum fluentnya anak div. Tim lap dalam menangani Maba, meskipun bukan awalan yang hebat, semua panitia sudah mulai untuk memasnaakan suhu keprofesionalan masing-masing.  Beranjak ke pertemuan kedua, parah dan hancur, mungkin itu tanggapan dari semua panitia karena terjadi berberapa masalah sampai Sang Kapel dan Tim Lap harus menghadap dengan PD 3. Sehingga muncullah Top Ten News dari kapel. Satu pengalaman berharga bagi aku pribadi sebagai pemilik karakter yang gampang sekali mengangkap suatu permasalahan adalah masalah sepele, satu kelemahan yang telah lama aku sadari, sering meremehkan suatu peraturan. Ini terjadi saat aku tidak benar-benar menjaga ketepatan waktu, sebaliknya memang suatu kesangajaan bagiku untuk menmbuat suatu acara yang nantinya bisa di molorkan, dan dengdong aku salah, aku harus profesional bukan untuk ”diriku sendiri” akan tetapi sebuah keprofesionalan diperlukan komitmen kepada keseluruhan anggota kita.

My Scary Moment

I have the scariest moment in my life when I went to Matos, Matos is one of big Supermarkets in Malang. I went to supermarket to buy a bag and shoes. After my structure class at 6.15 pm, I went to Matos by motorcycle. At least I went alone because threes no friends could accompany me. I tired today; caused I went to campus since morning. Arrived in the gate of supermarket, there were two policeman. I remembered that recently increasing a terrorism issues. Moreover with my performance, it became an attention. I was investigated by policeman, but I just easy going with this investigated. After that I walked alone I supermarket. My feeling was not good, for along time I have never gone to Supermarket. It was forced because I didn’t have another occasion to bought bag and shoes in other time in other hand I really needed it. In throughout my way there were many people always stared to me. I was not comfortable with that. Be caused I didn’t find the bag and the shoes yet I  decided to went to Matahari Department stored. The day get more night, so I  made choice to faster. Finally I got the bag and the shoes. After that I paid and went to home faster. In the way I thought that my performance when I went to Matos has invited people always stared to me, so it was my scariest moment that still refresh in my mind.

 

Yearning you friends!

From dead poet society

Along time I just conscious what happens with my society, I has truly changed.

Latterly I feel that I need friendship, and I lost it. I don’t know since when I missed another dead poet society that there another Charlie or Nuwanda  that brave to prove himself, like neil that he have a problem that can shared with other or there is Cameron that have smulk talk but he a good friend or a Todd that a sincere friend. I need you friend so I sorry if I don’t have you all, sorry I really miss you. If still there opportunity to me, I still don’t now. I don’t want my veil and my missionary Endeavour become battle to my society. I don’t know I just feel the ukhuwah in my soul is empty. Or I don’t undestend there is some thing wrong. In campus don’t give me a good ukhuwah. Is just syuro and syuro and I busy with this things. Meetings everywhere and everytime.

I forget with my needed to have a good friendship with my closed people around me.

its about my billing!

have you ever made ads in facebook….?

its rather effective than in google adword, i think that

in facebook  faster than googel now, i have several upload my ads in facebook and amazing it really works, but i must pay expensive to do it. such as now my billing have blow up, i can count it carefully, dont you surprise when your ads until around 180,00 dollar or in rupiah is around 2 million rupiah.

but allhamdulillah i can change my expulsion with my income.

its more surprise for you all, that never get your pasive income from internet, its my first experiences get it, in one fisrt month i could until around 10.000.000 rupia, do you realize. actually i couldnt to at that time but its fact.

now i think you guys can try it by your self and be success  internet enterprenour, see yeah ….

“Thank You M’am” by Langston Hughes

Analysis:

1. plot :

• Exposition :

The story starts with Roger trying to steal Mrs. Jones’ pocketbook, but he is caught and then gets threatened by her. She decides to take him back to her apartment instead of calling the police. Roger explains that he is in need of money to buy a pair of shoes.

• Complication (rising action) : the story introduce by a conflict that the child try to snatch M’am in the road. But he felled by M’am.
• Climax :

“He could make a dash for it down the hall. Run, run, run, run” This is the climax in the story Thank you M’am by Langston Hughes. This climax is a special one, because of where it is placed, how it is not commonly used, and well how it is used.

One of the most amazing things about this climax in the story is where it is placed. The climax for Thank You M’am is in a quiet place in the story where nothing was really going on. Roger was washing his face, and Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones was sitting on her bed. A lot of people would think have thought that it was in the beginning when Roger and Mrs. Jones were fighting for the purse, but it’s not, and that’s what makes this climax unexpected.

• Falling action : the son followed M’am, so he helped by M’am
• Resolution : M’am give his ate and ten dollars to get suede shoes, and the boy promise to do not make mistake of latching onto M’am pocketbook nor nobody else’s, so the son will behave himself.

1. character :

Both characters are the protagonists. The one main character, Roger, can be viewed as both a dynamic character.

• Roger: (Protagonist) he unadorned so he tried to get suede shoes by picked pocket in a road, and he not strong boy. He simple child that can to change to be better, he want followed M’am in that way he can run. But he still tried to got apologized by M’am
• Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones : (protagonist) kind woman that she want help a little boy on the street, she give him ate,  ice box and some money to get what he want to buy, she also give advised to the son to do not a bad habit like pick pocket. As the quote in the story : “ You ought to be my son. I would teach you right from wrong. Least I can do right now is to wash your face. Are you hungry? “

1. Setting:

The setting of the short story, Thank You, M’am by Langston Hughes, takes places during the early 1900s. There is a large woman named Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones and a young boy named Roger.it’s about eleven o’clock at night, in road when the woman walked alone and in the woman house, the house large.

1. Point of view : The omniscient, all knowing point of view, who the writer know all of the thinking of the character
2. Theme : this story about how the poor son meets with the kind M’am, so the M’am gets concerned with the son condition. She wants to help him. So the theme is kindness or society and these possible theme for this story: Kindness is a more effective tool for rehabilitating criminal behavior than punishment, trust can build relationships in the most unexpected places,  offering kindness to an bad person can have transforming results, people respond more positively to trust and kindness than to punishment.

My Beautiful Room

My room is beautiful. It is large room. And I put my goods in order. All my good, I put in my room, because I am in boarding house. I am in pair with my friends in that room. In my room there are two cupboards, one for my friend and the other for me. Then, there is one bedroom. It is pretty large for my friend and me, the bedroom is no bed stead but lying in the floor. Besides it, there are two rack for our little goods, one for my friend and the other for me, I put kinds of beauty product such as cosmetic in the highest rack, kinds of pencil and other little good for studying in second rack, and the third level of rack, I put kind of my instant food reserve. My book is arranged on top of my cupboard and a half I put on my cupboard, because the cupboard is big one. Sometime my room become disorganize when I put my book at random in anywhere in floor. In side of the walk aligning my desk for study, my laptop and my printer, in other side there is my friend clothes hamper. At my floor I use puzzle carpet, I must keep it in clean because my room in the second floor, so the wind sometime make my room full of dusk. And about the wall is can be said that my room is full of kinds of shelter, such as my journal plank, I make it from Styrofoam, my daily schedule, my memo board, and my material to be memorized board. Besides it, my friend also like displays some poster in the wall. This is the describing of my beautiful room.

Animals and Human Language

Human language is distinct from the language of other creatures. Human language is indeed such unique from of communication, then it would seem inconceivable that other would be able to develop an understanding  of expression. It seems difficult to conceive of animals understanding human languge, the it appears to be even less likely that an animal would be capable of producing human language.

Chimpanzees and language

The idea of raising a chimp and child togheter may seem like a nightmare, but this is basically what was done in an early attempt to teach a chimpanzee to use human language. Studying language for it was remarkable achievement since it has become clear that non human primates do not have a physically structured vocal tract which is suitable for producing human speech sound.

Washoe

Washoe like a human child in a comfortable domestic environment. Even more impressive was washoe’s ability to take these form and combine them to produce “sentences” which would seem to indicate that her linguistic system had the potencial to producing human language. Another chimpanzees are sarah and lina was being taught to use a set of plastic shapes for purpose of communicating with human. It must be noticed that this symbol its arbitrary since it would be hard to argue for any natural connection between an apple and blue plastic triangle. A lot of skepticism regarding these apparent linguistic skills.

Nim chimpsky

Linguist Noam Chomsky, had claimed that language is an innate ability and unique to the human species. His conclucion was that chimpanzees are clever creature who lear to produce the certain type of behaviou (signing) in order to get reward. And who are essentially performing sophiscated ‘tricks’. Consequently, they are signing is not linguistic behaviour at all.

Hans, Buzz and Doris

The argument presented by terrace are very similar to those which have been used in the past to discredit claims that any animal that capable of understanding and using any form of linguistic communication. The conclusion was that Doris behaviour consist of condition responses to the difference light signals buzz’s behavior was conditionet to responding to Doris’s calls.

The controversy

These two phenomena, unwitting cues provided by human trainers and the condicioned responses behavior of animals, are usually cited as the explanation of language like behavior in animals generally and of chimpanzees in particular. The idea of chimpanzees developing language-like skills with other chimpanzees was also crucial in the case of Sherman and Austin.
